Scandal Silicone Stopper Gag by CalExotics

The Scandal Silicone Stopper Gag by CalExotics is a versatile bondage accessory designed for intimate exploration, offering a unique choice between an open mouth and a filled, stoppered experience. Crafted from premium, body-safe silicone with nickel-free iron hardware, it ensures comfort and safety for both partners during play. This adjustable gag fits heads up to 24 inches around, making it suitable for a wide range of users seeking to explore power dynamics and sensory restriction.

At the core of its design is the innovative stopper mechanism, which features a removable mouth cover that allows you to switch between an open-mouth configuration for vocal sounds and a closed-mouth setup for a silent, filled sensation. The mouth ring has a 1.5-inch diameter when the stopper is removed, providing a secure yet comfortable fit that prevents choking while maintaining flexibility. This dual-functionality makes it an ideal choice for couples who want to vary their scenes, allowing for moments of intense silence or uninhibited expression without needing to change the entire device.

The gag is constructed from smooth, high-quality silicone that is odorless, tasteless, and easy to clean, ensuring hygiene and comfort throughout use. The hardware consists of nickel-free iron buckles and connecting joints, eliminating the risk of skin irritation or allergic reactions often associated with cheaper metals. The adjustable strap, measuring 24 inches (61 cm) in length, can be customized to fit securely around various head sizes, ensuring a snug and safe hold during extended play sessions. Its stretchy nature adds to the comfort, allowing for natural head movement while maintaining the desired level of restriction.

Usage scenarios for the Scandal Silicone Stopper Gag are diverse, ranging from light teasing and role-play to more intense bondage sessions. The ability to open and close the mouth access enables dynamic shifts in a scene, such as transitioning from a submissive's vocal pleas to a silent, helpless state. This versatility enhances the psychological aspect of the play, deepening the power exchange between partners. For solo users, the gag can be used with a mirror or camera to explore self-restriction and the sensation of being watched without the ability to speak, adding a layer of voyeuristic pleasure.

Cleaning and maintenance are straightforward due to the non-porous nature of the silicone and the durable, easy-to-wipe hardware. Simply rinse the gag with warm water and mild soap, or use a dedicated toy cleaner, ensuring all crevices are thoroughly cleaned. The nickel-free iron components are non-tarnishing, so they can be wiped down and reused without concern for corrosion or discoloration. Proper storage in a cool, dry place, ideally in a breathable bag, will help maintain the silicone's integrity and prevent any potential damage from prolonged exposure to moisture or sunlight.

Compatibility with various lubricants is important for comfort, and since the gag is made of silicone, it is best paired with water-based lubricants to avoid degrading the material. While the silicone is generally smooth and comfortable, users with sensitive skin should ensure the nickel-free iron hardware does not cause any irritation, although it is specifically designed to be safe for most skin types. The 1.5-inch opening diameter is a standard size that accommodates most adult mouths comfortably, but users with larger or smaller mouths should consider trying it on before committing to extended wear to ensure a proper fit.

For beginners, this gag offers a gentle introduction to gag play due to its adjustable nature and the option to start with the mouth open, allowing for a gradual acclimation to the sensation of restriction. As users become more experienced, they can explore the stopper feature, which requires careful communication and trust between partners to ensure safety and comfort. The adjustable strap ensures that the gag can be secured at a level of tightness that is comfortable yet effective, preventing accidental dislodging while avoiding excessive pressure on the neck or jaw.

Overall, the Scandal Silicone Stopper Gag by CalExotics is a thoughtfully designed product that prioritizes safety, comfort, and versatility. Its high-quality materials and innovative design make it a reliable choice for those looking to enhance their intimate experiences with a piece of bondage gear that offers both functionality and pleasure. Whether used for a quick scene or a longer session, this gag provides a secure and enjoyable way to explore the dynamics of control and submission.
