Texture and material construction: This is a traditional "smoothie" style vibrator. It is made of hard plastic with a satiny smooth coating, it is non-toxic and non-porous. It takes 2 AA batteries and has a dial to increase the intensity. For external stimulation and vaginal insertion only, not anal-safe. It is waterproof as long as the cap is securely closed.

Review Details: This is a traditional "smoothie" style vibrator - it is what most people will think of when a "vibrator" is mentioned. It's a simple white plastic, with a very easy to use dial on the base to adjust the power. There is no fancy technology or patterns here, it's just steady adjustable speed. This vibrator has moderate power, not enough for a power queen like me but not weak, and it has some rumble to it. If using it in water, just make sure the cap is screwed on tightly and that you don't loosen the battery cap while twisting the power dial. If you want another color, Doc Johnson and many other companies make similar versions of this style of vibrator in many colors - the Doc Johnson Black Magic Velvet Touch vibrator is the same as this one except in black. It is a slim girth, which is nice if you have never used an insertable before, or if you have difficulty with insertables. I wish I had gotten this one instead of the awful Little Chroma when I first started with sex toys and couldn't handle much girth. I would've saved $100 and had (a lot) more than one speed! It is too straight to hit the G-spot, and too slender to provide fullness. The tapered end can also be used if you like more pinpoint clitoral stimulation. This one is too thin to provide the fullness I like now and it can't reach my G-spot, but it is enjoyable, I also like stronger vibrations than this vibe can provide. But I have high power needs, so if you aren't a power queen and don't want a lot of girth this could be what you're looking for. I love that it doesn't have set speeds, and you can turn the dial to increase or decrease the power to any level you want. The White Nights Velvet Touch vibrator is a great deal if you don't have a lot of money and are new to insertables, and you can get by with medium level power. For the price, it's certainly worth a try!
