Holy crap. I’d been wanting something different lately. Silicone is great but I needed some variety. This appeared to be the solution but.... a $160 dildo? Really? “Is there such a thing as a $160 orgasm?” I asked myself.

It is absolutely beautiful, for one. Everything from the shape to the wood itself makes the quality obvious. But you don’t buy something like this just for shelf value. Within the first couple of hours I knew this toy was going to replace all my others! The large end didn’t do anything for me, but the smaller bulb...HOLY COW! Texture and material construction: The NobEssence Seduction Sculptured Hardwood Dildo can only be described as a piece of art. It is absolutely gorgeous. Though, because they are all made by hand, each will be different. Mine specifically is a beautiful medium brown color with stripes of golden brown throughout. The gold coloring, because of the finishing, glows and shimmers beautifully in the light. In addition to this, there are also tiny dark brown/black specks throughout the golden segments that gives the toy a look of movement or flow.

The wood itself is very light in weight and for the most part very smooth. Because the finish on the toy isn’t caked on, you can still feel the natural texture of the wood, which is something I like. However, there is one place on the toy were the imperfections in the wood were not completely sanded out and thus can still be felt. That is the only spot I wish the finish was slightly thicker. When you run your hand over the toy the coarse blemish is quite noticeable and breaks up the smooth feel.

Thankfully though, it could not be felt during use. In design the Seduction is in an elongated “S” shape. One side of the toy had a medium size bulb and a deep curve for directly hitting the G-spot with acute stimulation. The other side of has a solid and thick curved piece for a feeling of fullness and broader G-spot stimulation.

Because the Seduction uses a special coating, it can be used with any lube and cleaned easily with soap and water.

Review Details: The NobEssence Seduction has quickly moved to the top of my favorites list. It is an absolutely gorgeous toy. Now, I don’t really need my toys to win any beauty competitions. However, having something this stunning in your hand definitely adds to the overall experience. The way the gold coloring of this toy almost seems to move in the light is almost hypnotic. I love staring at it. Not only is it gorgeous to look at though, its shape and length make it easy to wield and highly functional.

My first session using this toy, I only used the smaller side. I used only a dab of lube and because it’s such a smooth finish, it slid right in and went directly for my G-spot. I experimented by simply moving it in and out and even without creating more of an angle, it felt amazing. I love that the length and the shape of the larger side made thrusting it so comfortable. I never felt like it was out of my control. I was able to get a good grip and work it the way I needed to.

The bulb end actually felt very interesting. Because it’s wood, and the natural gain was not overpowered by the finish, I could actually feel the grainy texture against my G-spot. It felt just rough enough to add a little extra friction. I wouldn’t have thought it would feel good but it really did. I think a little more lube would probably reduce that feeling but I really liked it so I just continued on.

Using a weaker vibrator (to not drown out the G-spot sensations) on my clitoris I came with an orgasm that was mild but jolting. I immediately switched my vibrator to my much stronger Magic Wand and started playing with the angle of the Seduction. Because of its shape, by simply pushing the handle down I was able to put a tremendous about of pressure on my G-spot. For my second session using this toy I tried the larger end and, much to my amazement, I found that this is where this toy really shined for me. I really expected its bluntness and thickness to be a problem but it really wasn’t. I pushed it in and, I have to admit, I was not prepared for the way it immediately hit my G-spot with such broad stimulation. The first words out of my mouth were, “holy shit.” I’m so use to smaller more acute G-spot toys that the broad yet intense sensation took me by surprise. The sensation had me completely skipping over the weaker vibe and going straight for my Magic Wand. I thrust it, rocked it, and jiggled the Seduction until it had me raising my hips high off the bed. I eventually ended up shoving my Liberator wedge under my hips to maintain the angle. I came so hard my body jackknifed up and eventually fell sideways with my thighs squeezed around the toy. The only thing bad I can really say about inserting the larger side is it was much harder to get a good grip on the toy. I found that to really get the angle/motion I needed my hand to be in a position that was difficult to achieve. I mean I managed it but it was uncomfortable. And because I had to maintain it in order to orgasm, it made my hand ache after thrusting for a while. Other than that though I have no real complaints about this dildo. It was absolutely awesome and I highly recommend it.

Texture and material construction: The wood is smooth, with a light natural texture. It is very lightweight. It is well-made and beautiful.

Review Details: I got the Paduak wood, which is incredibly gorgeous. It is a deep reddish-brown, with red highlights that are almost luminous. Upon receiving it, I couldn't stop running my hands over it; the texture and shape are completely alluring.

The small, bulbed end hits my G-spot quite well, and because the toy is so light, sustained thrusting is possible. Sometimes my husband does this for me, and doesn't seem to have a problem keeping it at a good angle. The larger end gets a lot of use as well. It is very filling, with a luscious curve to it that feels great when gently pushing it in.

Though it's very smooth, there is some drag to it that requires a fair bit of lube. Also, when I use it with a clitoral vibe (which is pretty much always), I have to be extremely cautious not to allow them to bump into each other. I fear that the finish could easily get damaged this way. This is where having a partner to help comes in handy; I can use one hand to hold the vibrator, the other one to shield it from bumping the Seduction, and in the meantime my husband takes care of the thrusting.

Texture and material construction: The Nobessence Seduction is a damn beautiful sex toy. It's made out of sealed hardwood (I got the darker, reddish-brown one) so it's non-porous, yay! and the natural grain and knots in the wood are really stunning. I'm not usually one to be overly concerned with aesthetics - I own and love a so-ugly-it's-awesome Eroscillator - but the Nobessence Seduction is so good-looking it deserves to be noted.

Review Details: This was also my first wooden sex toy, and I have to say - I'm a fan. The fact that it's a hard material (as compared to silicone) means that it can provide some pretty intense stimulation, if that's what you're after. It's also lightweight, which is nice for marathon jack-off sessions and/or lazy masturbators. Plus, sometimes, it's just really nice to fuck yourself silly with something this luxurious.
