This is a really lovely gift set! The packaging is very giftable! The box design is excellent. It's filled with shredded paper wool like a hamper. Which stays together so it doesn't make a mess. And best yet it's all widely recyclable! When smelling the oils from the bottle the strawberry and cherry oils were incredibly sweet, but once applied to the skin the scents are nice and fruity. Recommend not using too much, be careful with the bottle as a lot can pour out if you aren't careful. A little goes along way so these are great value and should last us a while. They definitely leave the skin kissable so they're ideal for couples massage. Definitely a tasty treat for you both! The oils feel great and left our skin feeling nourished afterwards. We were delighted to receive it from Lovehoney in exchange for an honest review and reckon it'd make a great gift!

Did I mention that I love the Sweet Caress Massage oil gift set? As always this sexy little Lovehoney delivery arrived right on time in an extremely innocent looking cardboard box. Upon opening the set was packed in a very gift-able pink and purple cardboard outer (details of the contents on the reverse). We opened the box which contained 3 x 30ml bottles (ideal for travel). Held in place with shredded paper. I love that all packaging is recyclable. The three massage oils are strawberry, vanilla and cherry. Unlike some well known beauty retailer's oils these actually smell like strawberries, vanilla pods and cherryade not sickly or overly artificial. I'd happily have these scents as body sprays. The oils seems to spread on the skin well and a little goes a really long way. They are advised as "kissable" and I would agree they are! I used the cherry on Mr John and the next night he used vanilla on me. The massages didn't lead to anything more but that is no bad thing. No strings attached sensual touch and care for eachother was a lovely change of pace. Our skin also felt lovely and soft after. We would definitely recommend this set and it would make a beautiful gift. Only small negatives are that it's easy to use too much as no way to control the flow. Also Mr John said he would like it if the oil left more shine on the skin. All in all a great massage set.

A sensuous gift set

These sweet little bottles come packed inside a nice box complete with shredded paper to protect them . I don't generally go on about packaging but this box could easily be wrapped up and given as a gift to someone. The 3 bottles are small at 30 ml each but the good thing with oil is that a little goes a long way! On unscrewing the lid there's a red plastic stopper which helps keep your oil in the bottle when in transit and not all over the box, your bag or wherever else you keep it. Pouring a tiny bit onto my hand to test it was a bit tricky as it all seemed to want to come out at once but I found popping my thumb loosely over the end and drizzling it in that way worked best . First to test was Strawberry. It smelled a bit like strawberry jam, quite nice although the fragrance was a bit strong straight off it lessened considerably with time. Next up was Cherry. Wow, the aroma was pretty overpowering, like cherry bakewell tarts! I felt like I'd wandered into a Mr Kipling factory! But again the aroma faded over time and use into a much more subtle smell which was really very pleasant. . Finally, the Vanilla. Vanilla is usually not my favourite fragrance but this one surprised me. I liked this best out of all of them! It's a warm, comforting vanilla smell and doesn't overpower or smell sickly sweet in any way. Taste wise, they're ok, not something I'd want too much of in my mouth but then again they're not unpleasant on the lips when you're kissing your way over your lover's body after a long sensuous massage . They do feel lovely on the skin though. Silky and smooth, they glide on easily and leave your skin feeling soft with a slight fragrance for several hours. I love giving and receiving massages, there's something incredibly therapeutic about it and using this set will be an added bonus especially as it's also packed with natural essential oils..
