DOMINIX Deluxe Leather Leg Harness (2 Pack)

They broke my spreader bar- and I'm not even mad

I had no idea what I was signing up for when I replied to the Lovehoney tester thread advertising a set of leg harnesses, and honestly, that was exactly what sold me. I consider myself a sex toy savvy shopper and it’s kind of gotten to the point that I struggle to find novel ideas and new products. This in mind, you can imagine how chuffed I was when I was selected to test. After some vigorous use, I can happily report that the excitement I felt at the prospect of putting these leather beauties through their paces was justified. They’re part of the DOMINIX range, a brand that never adds unnecessary frills to their packaging. This was delivered in their usual fare of a plastic bag that lets the product speak for itself. This bag was doomed, nothing was going to stand in the way of my testing - no man, woman and certainly no plastic. My first thought - Yes! These could actually fit me! I have very slim legs and sometimes it’s enough of a hassle to find stockings that stay up, so seeing the buckles that could be tightened on both sides of the harness was a weight of my mind, and only made me more excited to see if they’d fit. Of course, before I did that I simply had to take a sniff. The lightly scented leather is intoxicating! It was a bit fiddly to try them on, but after a few minutes they were secure and… well, stunning. I am not joking. I immediately started working these into a gothic/ steampunk outfit in my mind, because it would be a waste not to show off how sexy these looked to the world. They’re slimming and easy to fit comfortably thanks to the wide selection of tightness, and paired with a pair of black boyshorts and my favourite black velvet bra I’m told it made for quite a sight. A little bit of adjustment and patience from myself and my partner, and we found out that as well as being and fashion accessory, this pair of thigh restraints were a must-have in every bondage collection. I managed to break a spreader bar in the process, but it was well worth it to test the limits of the harnesses! So far, I’ve found none other than the ones set by the laws of physics. With an ounce of creativity and a dash of patience, these can add a fresh new twist to your BDSM scenes for minimum effort and a steal of a price. It feels like to summarise these harnesses in a single paragraph can’t possibly do them justice, but for the sake of completion I will try. They’re adjustable, flexible and beautiful. Whether you’re looking for fetishwear or a new bondage angle, you cannot go wrong here. If you need something a bit different, this will satisfy. But let’s be honest - when has leather not satisfied?

I bought these to wear to a fetish event in London. When they arrived I was surprised how soft the material was and how adjustable they are - I'm a size 8 and have pretty slim legs and they fitted great. I did have to tuck the extra length of straps in, but it wasn't a problem. They looked great with my outfit, but I did find that they were slightly uncomfortable to walk around in - let's say there were substances involved and I was on the move an awful lot! They did slip down slightly, so I just had to make sure they were tightly fastened. Haven't tried them yet in the bedroom, but certainly looks like that could be fun... They are really good quality and well made.

We purchased these to go with our other Dominix restraints. After the initial fiddly part of adjusting them to the right size, they added a lot of variation our playtime. We did find they slipped a bit but didn’t come off. Despite that, we would happily recommend them to anyone thinking about getting them.

These leg harnesses add an extra dimension to any BDSM outfit for both heavy and easy going users. For the wearer, the tight wrapping around the upper thighs reinforces the sensation of being tightly bound without necessarily hampering movement. On the flip side, with numerous points for buckles, chains and spreaders, they are excellent for limiting movement in the hands of an experienced domme. Aesthetically they are great to look at with matte black leather and bright silver buckles and studs. Adjustable to fit just about any legs, including my quite bulky thighs, they are excellent addition to any fetish set. I do a little webcamming from time to time, and these harnesses have drawn much interest and many compliments. Both old hands and new can get a lot of enjoyment out of this harness set, regardless of wearing or watching.

Upon arrival they were packaged well and were really amazing quality leather. I then tried them on, or attempted to. As a 5 ft 6, size uk 16 woman there was absolutely no way these harnesses were buckling up around my thighs (calves maybe). The strap going down the centre of my thigh was also too long (30" inside leg for reference). Wish I could of loved them but sadly they have been returned.
