I recently decided to invigorate our playtime repertoire with a few new goodies, so I spent a happy hour (or three!) adding things to my Lovehoney wishlist and sent the link to my Other Half, which elicited the exact reaction I was hoping for (that being 'Hubba hubba, yes please etc!"). This dress was the first thing he decided to buy and, though I knew I had a surprise coming, I didn't know exactly what I was getting until I opened the package. Very exciting in itself! The dress is presented in a dinky little pink/black/white gift box (which arrived at my door in Lovehoney's nicely unassuming cardboard box). I was initially taken aback by the front photo on the packaging (which shows the dress being worn with the corseting at the front) as, not being a massive fan of my (slightly less toned than I'd like) post-weight loss belly, this was *not* a look I would be comfortable in. However, I quickly realised that it was definitely a dress I'd 'wishlisted', it is just reversible, a great option if you're brave enough to do so. Opening the tissue paper I found both the dress and a darling little spanking paddle. Honestly, I have a thing for cute and small (well, not EVERYthing ;-) ) so this adorable little freebie was a great addition. Palm-sized with a fairly small handle it is the perfect travel-size toy and will definitely be coming on holiday with us. Having tried out the paddle on the same night as the dress I can confirm that it delivers a delightful tingle without any stinging or risk of marks, bar a pleasing posterial rosy glow. So, a spanker for those that prefer a gentler touch or a warmer-upper to prepare for harder things to come but not something with which to administer a serious beating. Now to the dress. I tried it on in advance of playtime because I know laces/corsets can be a bit tricky and I wanted to make sure I could get into it. I tried it on then took it off and readjusted the spacing of the string. With a little bit of trial and error I obtained the perfect fit. I have a fairly pronounced hourglass shape, so needed to pull the waist in slightly and give the excess to the bottom third, but once I done this it fit like a dream. I genuinely can't believe how flattering it is. The shiny material clings to your curves and smooths out your silhouette. Even though there is no upper support it made my breasts look amazing (a fact confirmed most enthusiastically by my OH) and the lack of straps means all it takes is a hooked finger in the front and out they will tumble for your partner's pleasure. Of course the main appeal of this dress is the open back and, wow, how very appealing it is! My OH goes wild for strings and corsets and tie-side knickers and will gleefully spend hours 'attending' to my bottom, so I knew this would push his buttons. I accessorised the dress with full length black satin gloves, hold-up stockings and black patent high-heels and waited patiently on the edge of the bed for my OH. After a little catwalk show so he could view his purchase from various angles, I obediently bent myself over his knee where, with a little help from our new paddle, he could really begin to appreciate the features of the outfit. Despite the dress being tight in style it is stretchy, letting you move freely and able to bend whichever way you might be commanded. The open back allows easy access without having to remove a stitch of clothing, which is both practical and erotic - what's not to love?! My OH was good enough to take some photos of my slightly reddened backside while still within the confines of the dress and I have to agree, it looked pretty amazing. I'm a size 12/14 and this dress fit me well due to its adjustable nature. The material is good quality and the tie string very durable as it put up with a lot of pulling and stretching (much like myself!) the night we used it. The only teeny tiny minor issue is that larger-breasted ladies may find that the top periodically slides down slightly but tying the lace a bit tighter at the top easily solves this. Ridiculously pleased with our choice/purchase and extremely impressed with the quality and service. Lovehoney does it again!
