Product Reviews
Not great for people with boobs
Rated 3 / 5

I bought this because I liked the idea of having something soft and comfortable but also a little bit sexy. It's definitely soft, but the fit was so odd that I don't think I can recommend it. I'm quite tall with a long torso, and usually about a size 12, with boobs that vary between C and D depending on the brand. I opted for a Medium set as that seemed to be the best fit. The top had one of those sewn bands which I think is where the underwire would normally be, and no matter how much I fiddled with the shoulder strap length, the band kept sitting about a cm below my nipples. It made the bottom of the top sit in a weird position that looked just too small rather than sexily cropped, and it just felt off. I don't wear these kinds of tops very much so maybe that's just how it's designed, but it felt wrong. That being said, the fabric is indeed very soft, and the shorts were okay (although again, I feel like I got slightly the wrong size). If you get the right size I think this could be a cute set. It's quite good quality all things considered. Just be aware that if you're at all in doubt, definitely go for a size up. I'm glad I got this on sale as I would have been quite unhappy paying $56 for a poorly-fitting set.

Perfect for Pears
Rated 5 / 5

As soon as I saw this set in the New In section it went on my wishlist, along with the grey version, but I wasn't sure when or whether I would buy them, as they're more than I would normally pay. I was lucky enough to receive this one as a tester item, and I have to say it's really worth the price. It's so soft and comfy, it's immediately become my lockdown warm weather outfit, paired with some kneehigh black and white stripy socks. The medium is honestly a perfect fit for me - I'm a very pear shaped size 12 34B, and usually really struggle to get something where the top and bottoms both fit. If you usually don't get paired sets because you're a pear shape, definitely go for this. The shorts are the really beauty of this set, the split sides mean they aren't a squeeze and will flare to accommodate a range of thigh sizes without ruining the lines. This flare can also make your hips look a bit wider than they are in the same way an A-line skirt would. I liked this, as it made my outer thighs look smoother, rather than accentuating my saddlebags like similar outfits have in the past. The loose cut also means that it's easy to pull to the side for access if you want to keep them on. If have curvy hips and bum, whether you see them as a feature or a flaw the shorts are flattering - but not going to make them look any smaller. Depending on what you want to highlight, you can wear them high on your waist to hide muffin top and belly and distract with a whole lot of underbum and thighs, or lower on your hips if you prefer to show off your belly and cover a little more of your hips. I wear it both ways, but tend to find it creeps up if you sit down for a while. The top I actually thought was a little too tight around my ribs when I first tried it on, but it was perfect after a wash. I love that it has actual structure to it - there's an underbust seam where you would get underwiring in a bra, a nice strip of fabric underneath, and then the lace at the bottom is elasticated. This means it holds its shape really well, doesn't ride up, and has actual fabric cups, but isn't so tight you can't slip a hand in. The lace on the neckline fits me perfectly, with it starting just above my nipples so they're accessible through the soft fabric instead of under the lace. If you want to be silly, you can also reverse the top for a fun cupless version, which got a giggle. In terms of quality, the fabric is lovely, the kind of soft and stretchy I like for pyjamas, and the elastic is stretchy without being restrictive. It's not as sheer as it looks on the model - I think that's just the effect of flash in the photo. Before the first wash, I didn't think the lace was particularly soft, but it only took one wash for me to not notice any scratching from it at all. The satin ribbon to match the bow on the top is a nice touch aesthetically, but it's not great as an actual draw string; it's a pain to tie and untie as it has no stretch. I think I would prefer a stretchy fabric strip instead, as it's a real drawstring and not just decorative. The sewing is well finished, I found a few loose threads but they were all firmly tied off. The only part I'm concerned about unravelling is the edges of the lace around the bottom of the shorts, where it ends for the side split it has just been cut. I don't think it needs particularly careful handling, just washing in a lingerie bag and not picking at it to test like I did! I wouldn't expect it to fray in normal use.

Shorts Wow top not so
Rated 4 / 5

So... first off the shorts just wow my ass looks amazing... The top well... small waisted ladies with big busts give it a swerve and go for the oh la la cherry/sherry (will write separate review) this Im afraid has a line of labric halfway across my boobs clearly meant for separating under the boobs from the stomach (basically the top is a write off for someone with a small waste but busty chest). *Still worth it for the shorts*

Comfy and Sexy
Rated 9 / 10

I'm about a size 6/8 and 5"3, bought the small. The bottoms fit great. I'm not very blessed in the breast department but the top seems to fit OK. I'm still needing to adjust the straps to get it to fit correctly. The set is so comfortable and it does make me feel sexy in it. My hubby also approves. Also the ribbon to tie the shorts is not secured in, and if not tied every time you could lose one end within the band.
