at first i loved the fact that the size of the aneros helix was a average As it being my first try using a prostate massager yet alone a anal toy. Very easy to insert and the silicone feel is pretty comfortable. i've used it around 10 times , but unfortunatly i never managed to properly feel any sensations at all. when asking other friends that have used it and sworn by it , they said it might be that the size of the shaft is small for me and is not properly hitting the p spot. i felt a bit sad as i heard so many great reviews about it. Review Details: I bought this Aneros after much research thinking it would be a great way to try out prostate stimulation during sex. The Helix is much loved and well regarded on the Helix message boards. This toy is has a silicone coating instead of being all plastic. I didn't care for the way silicone does not seem to hold lubricant and is also a magnet for any sort of hair, lint, dust etc. Seriously, after I bought a glass toy I realized I had to use about twice the lube for the Helix. The size of this falls into the "just right" category and would be a great choice for the beginner. I found the Helix to be pleasurable but it never felt great to me. Something about its shape caused discomfort to me when inserted all the way for about the first 3 minutes or so. After that it was great. The Aneros you choose is personal and everybody's body and preferences are different. If you’re going to start somewhere this isn't a bad place, but I'd suggest one of the less expensive icicles toys to test the waters with.
