Magic Wand Rechargeable Cordless Vibrator

I have owned the OG magic wand in the past and looooved it. No other vibrator compares! I wanted this one to get rid of the somewhat irritating cord aspect, and she delivers! I do feel like it's less satisfying than the original, and tends to have a more irregular motor pattern (purely an auditory annoyance than anything). I still love it, and reach for it more than any other toy!

The Jackhammer of Vibrators!

While the Magic Wand Rechargeable is still pretty loud, it's a damn jackhammer of a vibrator and deserves the love it receives. The rumble of the vibrations and how strong they are is pretty much unparalleled, only the most expensive wands can even compare. I personally use mine with the Vixen Gee Whiz attachment because, even at the lowest setting, this thing is STRONG and can be overwhelming. But, if you need or want to experience some of the strongest vibrations out there, then I highly recommend this toy!

It's the long-standing classic OG for a reason

When I was younger, more sensitive, and not on T, I tried a corded Hitachi. It was far too much for me.

Now, post T at 30, a cordless is the perfect thing for me. It really does the job by itself. For sanitary and stimulation reasons, an attachment is also a good idea.

The Magic Wand Rechargeable is my all time favorite vibrator, the love of my life, and my primary partner, and also maybe my best friend?? I fucking love this thing. It's the perfect blend of power and ease of use. That super rumbly vibration, but you can you it on or off the cord? Yes please!

Everyone is so different so there really is no "best" vibrator...except this one. This is the best.

I love my Magic Wand!

If you like vibration you will love the magic wand. It is intense and rumbly. The updated cordless version has 4 settings, though I rarely make it to the highest setting. It holds a lot of vibration time every time it charges, and I've already had the toy for two years and I notice no change to the battery.

Also, if you're running out of battery you can always plug it in and keep going, with no change in intensity. It's definitely large and not especially discreet in volume, but hands down my favorite vibrator.

Texture and material construction: The Magic Wand Rechargeable Cordless Vibrator is the updated version of my favorite massager, the Original Magic Wand. Like the previous Magic Wand the body of this toy is made of hard plastic and is long enough to allow you to comfortably grip it with both hands and still not disturb the power buttons. The head of this toy however is made with silicone instead of PVC like the original. The silicone is soft, smooth, easily cleaned, and glides really well when using it with lube. It also performs well over material if you are someone who masturbates with their underwear on. It moves over some materials better than others but I haven’t really had a problem with there being too much drag for it to work well. This massager unlike the original has adjustable speeds and multiple patterns.

There are three soft and easy to use buttons on the handle. One turns the toy on and off, one allows you to increase the speed, and one allows you to pick a pattern. I never use the patterns so I can’t comment on how effective they are. Regarding the speed however, I can say that all intensities have very rumbly vibrations. The vibrations start out significantly slower than the original Magic Wand and increase to a speed that at its highest is comparable to lower setting on the original. As the name suggests, it is rechargeable and the charge seems to last a good while. Also, you can use this vibrator while it is plugged in which is wildly convenient.

Review Details: The Original Magic Wand is my absolute favorite vibrator. Nothing I’ve tried so far has been able to top it. So I was super excited when I heard that they were making it cordless and adding different power options. Because cordless toys rarely have the power that corded vibrators do, I was interested to see how it would turn out. After using it I must say I’m quite happy with the results. I enjoy being able to tease myself at the lower speeds. The vibrations are very deep and work well for building my arousal. However, it’s the highest speed that is most important to me because that’s my finisher. On my Original Magic Wand the lower speed is my go to. The vibrations on the highest speed are just way too buzzy and surface to bring me to orgasm. The lower speed though seems the perfect balance of speed and just a slightly buzzy vibration quality. That is the speed that the new Rechargeable Magic Wand had to live up to, and it totally pulled it off. The highest speed on this new vibrator is around the same intensity (maybe slightly more intense) as the lower setting on the original. The only real difference is that it’s just a bit more rumbly. This vibrator completely eliminated the speed I never used anyway and added build up to the one I used the most. It’s awesome! I think I still prefer the quality of the vibrations on the original to the rechargeable (I actually like a little bit of buzz) but only by a little. They’re really so similar that either one works.

In addition to the speed change, I also love that the head is now made of silicone. I always felt weird about putting that PVC head directly on my vulva. For direct genital contact I prefer to use materials I know are body safe and PVC is a porous material. Often I’d actually put a condom over it before I let it touch my skin. With the silicone I don’t have to worry about that because it’s not going to harbor bacteria. Furthermore, I was very happy to see that even with the silicone, I could still use my vibrator over my clothes. My favorite way to masturbate with the Magic Wand is actually over my underwear. I find that direct clitoral stimulation with vibration (especially ones as powerful as the Magic Wand’s) can often be too much. I need that extra barrier to dampen the vibrations a bit. Plus, I’m kinda lazy and getting undressed and using lube is more effort than I’m willing to give sometimes. So, when I heard the new vibrator head is made of silicone, I was worried it wouldn’t move smoothly over fabric because silicone normally has a good bit of drag. However, this silicone is so smooth that it glides right across it. There is a bit more friction than with the Original Magic Wand, but not so much that it’s a hindrance.

Overall, I think they did a great job of updating the Magic Wand. The changes they made weren’t just useless fluff to make it look fancy. They were actually necessary changes that increased the range and safety of the toy. I feel like this company listened to the needs of it consumers and created a product that reflects that. The Magic Wand Rechargeable Cordless Vibrator is a toy I have no problems recommending.

Review Details: I love this toy, hands down. Starting with the vibrations, this is powerful. For a comparison with the Mona 2, the Low setting on the Magic Wand is about medium on the Mona 2. There are 4 vibration settings and 4 vibration patterns, but I haven't experienced any over 2 yet (I finish before I need to go up in intensity). The vibrations are rumbly and the large head spreads the vibrations out over the whole vagina. The Magic Wand weighs a decent amount though and is rather hard to hide discreetly, but I am not afraid of snapping it. The fact that it is also rechargeable and doesn't need to constantly be connected to power is great for portability. Overall, 10/10, I would highly recommend!

Review Details: I really like this toy, it's the first vibrator that's ever really worked for me. (Disclaimer: I haven't tried that many.) I love broad stimulation, and the head is absolutely huge, which is great. If you like very direct or pinpoint stimulation, you will probably hate this vibrator. If you're like me, and prefer indirect stimulation, like through the labia or over clothes, you will probably be a very happy camper. I also like pressure, and this toy is fabulous for that: it's really solid, fairly firm, and has a heft to it that makes it easy to apply pressure without having to push down as hard as I can. A couple of small issues I've had: this thing is big and heavy. It feels like it weighs about two pounds, and it can sometimes be awkward to wield. I usually end up holding it toward the top of the handle, above the buttons, so that I have better control. Holding it at the very end makes it really hard to maneuver, and I like to move my vibrators around in use. Another thing is that it is very, very strong. I only ever use the first intensity setting, personally, and even that can be too overwhelming sometimes. I have to work up to it. If you're a power queen, this won't be an issue. If you're really sensitive, you might hate it. If you're somewhere in the middle, like me, it's probably worth a shot if you like broad stimulation or indirect stimulation.

Review Details: The Magic Wand Rechargeable is GLORIOUS! Oh, so glorious. I wanted it to be wonderful and it's so, so close to being complete perfection. I almost sent in a review for the MWR the day it arrived but I was too busy using it to achieve multiple orgasms. This is without a doubt my strongest toy. I probably used it almost exclusively for the first two weeks I owned it, and seriously worried for a second that I might never use my other vibrators again. Thankfully my clit came to its senses and embraced variety, but the MWR remains a favorite. It has 4 vibration strengths and 4 patterns. The strengths are denoted by blue lights, the patterns by green ones. This is a feature I almost appreciate since it makes it instantly recognizable what setting you're on. It has the longest run time of any rechargeable vibrator I know of, more than 4 hours! Great for taking on weekend trips because the charge can last through several sessions. And once it gets low on battery, a light will blink red and then you can plug it in and continue to use it! Most vibrators will get damaged if you do that (like LELO ones), but the fact that they designed it to do that without incident is genius. If you want strong vibrations and broad stimulation, there's nothing better than this. The only improvement I can imagine is for it to be waterproof so I could take it in the shower.
