Review Details: This is the first (and only) strap-on my partner and I have ever used. We debated purchasing a harness to wear with it as others have suggested, but honestly I have had few difficulties with keeping it “secure.” The bulb that fits inside the wearer is very comfortable and seems to sit at an angle that is relatively easy for my pelvic floor muscles to hold on to. The dildo part is rigid but not overly so, and can be flexed a bit to make certain positions more comfortable. My boyfriend reports that it feels great receiving it, and the bullet provided with it has decently strong vibrations that both of us could feel. However, the bullet only lasted one session before fizzling out partway through our next go. We ended up using our Lelo Smartwand (medium) when that died and found we both REALLY enjoyed the much stronger clitoral vibrations for me that were then transferred through the Feeldoe to my partner (a bit of juggling though). My partner is a bit taller than me so finding positions can be somewhat difficult, and a harness would maybe remedy that.

Overall, would definitely recommend, very high quality product that we really enjoy!

Texture and material construction: The Feeldoe is made of a nice, firm silicone, which works well for its purpose. The texture is glossy smooth; with silicone, this does create some drag, so a water-based lube is a good idea with it.

Review Details: Ah, the original Feeldoe. I purchased it with my hard-earned money years ago, not long after they first became available. It seemed really expensive at the time, but it has been well worth it. It's still exactly the same today as it was when I first opened the package.

I'm on the smaller side in the vagina department, so it takes some warm-up and lube and time to get the wearer's end inserted, and even then it's a little painful getting past the widest part. But afterward, it stays in place pretty well -- I can stand with my legs apart and hold it in with the kegel muscles. It IS heavy, though, with all that solid, firm silicone, and can feel like it may fall out at any moment, but it never has. (I wonder if they'll make a hollow version to lighten the weight?) The "neck" is a bit flexible (I think a shorter neck would help), so I need to hold my thighs together tightly to get better control and leverage while using it missionary style. It works in a harness, too, for even more control. It also gives the wearer some nice sensations, though not orgasmic for me on its own.

As for being on the receiving end of this lovely device, let me just say that it has given me many orgasms. It's a little intense for me because of its size and firmness, but after some warm-up it feels amazing enough to forgive that. (The Feeldoe Slim is a better balance of size and sensation for me.) The gentle upward curve and the small ridge near the tip work wonders on my g-spot.

The color is great too -- a nice, medium-deep violet. I do wish each size came in a few different colors, though. I've tried it with the little bullet vibe a few times, and it was nice, but not very powerful once transmitted through all that silicone.

And probably best of all, of course, is the fact that there are no straps to dig in, no buckles or rings to pinch, and no layers of fabric between me and my partner. We are skin-to-skin everywhere our bodies touch. That is such an incredible feeling.

It's a great idea, but I personally had a hard time making this work without wearing a harness. In the past, it is quite nice to feel the base of the dong pressing against my pelvis, and I like that feeling of power. With the Feeldoe, well, I actually felt like I had a dick!
