Tracey Cox rocks
Rated 10 / 10

I knew I was in good hands when I read in the introduction that Tracey originally planned to call this book “F*** me, I’m 50!” I wasn’t disappointed. It’s worth reading this book just for the menopause info alone, but there’s so much more to this book than that. Although it’s mainly written from the female perspective, there’s lots here for men too. A wealth of life experience and practical information is threaded throughout, all presented in handy bite-size chunks. It’s almost like being handed a really good Ordnance Survey map after trying to navigate using something scrawled on the back of an envelope. It all makes sense now!

A bedside must-have!
Rated 10 / 10

I've read other books/articles/columns from Tracey, so am always interested in the advice she has to give. I'm not over 50 myself, but I also passed the book to my mum afterwards, someone who is 50+, to see what she thought of it. She wasn't disappointed! From my point of view, it was informative, light-hearted and a good go-to. It's more something you would dip in and out of, as opposed to reading from front to back - something perfect to keep in your bedside drawer!  I (and my mum!) would recommend this to anyone looking for tips on sex/relationships post 50, especially in long-term relationships, but also to open your eyes to things you'd maybe never considered! It also reminds you that you're not alone in experiencing changes in yourself, your relationship and your sex life and provides advice on how to work with/around those obstacles too. Tracey does a great job of addressing topics that some people find uncomfortable and turning them into easy-going, yet constructive, conversations.
