Must-have rope

The experience with the bondage rope and learning all different ties with my partner was amazing! We practiced using the tie guides, it was so soft and easy to use, must say absolutely perfect for beginners. The black colour was so discrete when tossed in our sex sack or hidden under our bed. Against my partner's skin, I can only describe as sexy, soft, and satisfying. We found that 10 metres was more than enough, and was just the right length for longer ties we wanted to try. Overall, I completely recommend the bondage boutique shibari rope and so does my partner. It is so soft and easy on the skin.

Super Soft Shibari

This cotton bondage rope is super soft and super comfy when on. It's a nice and bright accompaniment to some of my matching lingerie and the colour shows no sign of fading, many months after purchase. It doesn't twist or tangle and lies nice and flat against the body. I'm not sure if it would be suitable for heavy duty action as it feels like it might be a little stretchy, but that's not its purpose. I would definitely recommend going for the 10m over the 6m offering because it can be surprising how quickly shibari can devour your length - if you know what I mean ;) Hanks back up nicely for storage too. Perfect.

Great Product

This rope was nicely packaged, is in fact very soft and forgiving on a new person practicing or experiencing bondage, and an overall very affordable and easy to use item! Ideal for beginnners who want a piece of rope that's long enough for different types of ties but not too punishing on the skin. It can be a bit fiddly to get undone if knots are pulled super tight but that's not really a major issue for me and can be remedied via slip release knots and such.

Great for shibari noobs

If you are curious about shibari/ rope bondage whatever you call it, you should give these ropes a try. They feel great against the skin and are a great length. I don't think they are strong enough for suspension, these are meant more for beginners. Check out a few tutorials on self shibari. Very beautiful. I love tortoise shell personally

Curious about rope bondage

Bought this rope as I've been curious about learning some basic shibari ties.After reading about the dangers of attempting rope bondage on a partner without being competent, I've only used on myself so far. Although when unfurled the rope seems very long it's used up quite quickly even doing basic ties but so far I've not done anything complicated enough to run out of rope yet!The rope has a nice weight to it and feels very strong yet soft on the skin and doesn't rub or chafe. It feels pleasant against my sensitive skin and It ties (and more importantly unties) easily. Although it almost seems a shame to cut such lovely material - the rope can be cut through easily with a cheap pair of safety scissors for an easy escape.Overall I'm very pleased I bought this rope and look forward to unleashing more of it's potential.

Superbly soft rope, great for beginners

As always, this product arrived in inconspicuous packaging.I'm a newbie to bondage, first and foremost. If you're looking to get into rope bondage, let me tell you, as a beginner, this is a great way to ease yourself into it. The rope is very soft - no rope burns to worry about - and easy to tie and untie - so you'll be safe doing it!Originally, I was hoping to buy the black rope but bought the red because the black was out of stock, but now that I have the red, I must say the colour compliments me well.I found ten metres to be a little short for my needs - it was about enough to tie up my legs nice and tight but not much else - so if you're thinking of going a bit further, you might want to buy some extra rope.If you're going to do rope bondage for the first time, make sure to buy yourself some safety scissors too. If you need to get out of your ropes in a pinch, the scissors will make it far quicker. Plus, if you want to cut your rope down to size (as I've needed to), the scissors do that easily.

Overall really good especially for beginners, lovely and soft and easy to work with only fault as slight fraying after a couple of uses but overall not a problem for the price. I would recommend this to anyone interested in this sort of thing 100% and we will be buying more in the future.

Perfect for a newbie like me

Great introduction to rope bondage. We recently discovered our dominance/submission side, and I felt soft rope would be a nice introduction to bondage.This rope is very soft. My wife says it's very comfortable to be tied up in, and doesn't rub at all. I have looked up some basic ties and enjoyed learning how to do them. Sometimes we even practice ties outside the bedroom so it all goes smoothly when we get down to business.The packaging is quite minimal. Some care instructions would also have been nice, but I've found just doing a low-temperature cotton wash is fine. It would also be good if some safety instructions were included, as rope play comes with risks!

Extremely soft & high quality!

This is my second time buying bondage rope from Lovehoney - I once tried some rope from an in person sex store because my partner and I didn't want to wait for shipping and it was stiff and inflexible which hurt the joints AND it wasn't even the advertised rope length :(

Cheap soft rope

First rope I bought and was perfect for me. Never had any rope burn, not too much friction for tying anything intricate, and nice attractive colour.

Bargain rope

Great beginner rope, soft and easy to use. It doesn’t shed any fibres like natural hemp rope nor does it feel scratchy. If your new to rope bondage I recommend purchasing a couple of these, they are perfect to practice ties, knots and shibari. I will now look at purchasing some higher end rope.

I ordered two of the 10m purple ropes. In the pictures they seemed to be a light purple almost pastel but I received dark purple :/ other than that the rope is alright quality

Great for beginners

Bought these as a beginner to bondage. Wanted to try some rope bondage with my girlfriend and this was absolutely great, it's soft and the black colour is a nice touch. Used some of it for some wrist restraints and can see myself buying more in the future!

I really enjoy this rope because it's so soft. The colours are really fun too. Like any rope it does have good points and bad points. Cotton isn't suitable for everything so make sure you research what you're doing.
